Maldives Capacity Development and Governance Institute (MCDGI) has commenced a training programme on managing and strengthening businesses. The two-day training programme is held at State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) with 27 participants.

The participants of the training programme include representatives from Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), Maldives Pension Administration Office, Maldives Post Limited and Maldives Islamic Bank.

During the training programme, a keynote address was delivered by the Minister of State for Finance Ismail Manik.

MCDGI is a training provider for corporate governance and capacity development in the Maldives market. MCDGI was established in April 2017 to cater for the capacity building needs of Maldives. Its work will remain focused on building the corporate sector of the Maldives.
