MCDGI CELEBRATES ITS TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Maldives Capacity Development and Governance Institute (MCDGI) celebrates its two year anniversary today.

MCDGI is a leading training provider for corporate governance and capacity development in the Maldives. Established on 13 April 2017, they seek to develop the corporate sector of the Maldives.

The vision of MCDGI is to become a premier institution for corporate governance and capacity development in the Maldives, recognized for excellence in professional development and leadership. They seek to provide knowledge, skills and support for governance practitioners to excel in their careers and create a positive impact in the country. Furthermore, MCDGI aspires to set the standards for the professional development of future business leaders who can effectively contribute to profitable and sustainable economic development.

The current chairman of MCDGI is the highly established Associate Professor, Dr Aishath Muneeza of INCEIF.

Some of the subjects MCDGI cover in their sessions are Corporate Governance and Ethics, Corporate social responsibilities, Emotional intelligence, Financial Planning and many more.

The MCDGI team constitutes of professionals with years of experience and knowledge. With a total of 8 local trainers and 7 Foreign trainers, all trainers possess the skills to conduct the programs professionally.

A total of 8 programs has been conducted, averaging to 2 programs per month.
