The Maldives Capacity Development and Governance Institute (MCDGI) is the associate partner with Institute of Directors (IOD) in organizing the 2019 London Global Convention.

The convention will be taking place from 13 until 16 November 2019 and will be at the Montcalm Marble Arch, London.

The theme for the 2019 edition of the London Global Convention will be “Board’s Opportunities and Challenges for Corporate Governance and Sustainability.”

The aim of the convention is to ensure and engage in deliberations on the effects on the changes of economies and corporations across the world on a global economic landscape. The London Global Convention will seek help to create an effective corporate governance and sustainability framework for boardrooms.

It is expected that the convention will attract corporate leaders, policy makers, academicians, jurists, social thinkers and professionals in the corporate culture including business, finance, corporate governance fields.

In addition to this, the renowned ‘Golden Peacock Awards’, both global and national for corporate governance and sustainability will be presented during the convention.

The convention is expected to commence with a Global Business Meet followed by a ceremonial lunch hosted in the House Of Lords, UK on 13 November.
