He is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant by profession and a Banker, Trainer and Writer by practice in the field of Islamic Banking & Finance since 2006. He is experienced in the field of Management Accounting, Financial Control, Strategic Planning, Regulatory Compliance, Corporate Strategy, Training & Career Development in Islamic Banking & Finance industry. He is currently serving as a Manager – Knowledge Marketing & Financial Inclusion at Amana Bank PLC, Sri Lanka. Previously, Muath was attached to the Finance Control Department at Barwa Bank, Doha – Qatar during 2009 – 2011. Muath is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – the UK, Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) – UK and Associate Fellow Member of Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance (IIBI) – UK, having successfully completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Insurance.
