The Maldives Capacity Development and Governance Institute (MCDGI) is proud to announce the opening of the 2026 Call for Proposals for the Governance & Professional Development Fund (GPDF). This is a premier opportunity for researchers, academics, and industry experts to contribute directly to the national development and economic resilience of the Maldives.

Application Details

  • Eligibility: Open to individuals or teams globally, including academic institutions, think-tanks, and independent researchers.

  • Lead Qualification: Must possess at least a Master’s degree (PhD-level researchers are encouraged).

  • Project Duration: Twelve (12) months.

  • Submission Deadline: 15 March 2026.
